Privacy Policy
Saturday Afternoon · last updated 1 October 2026
This page says what Saturday Afternoon stores about you, why, and what it doesn't. The game is made by February Games, LLC. It is for adults only.
Your play is private
Nobody reads your scenes. What you type and what the characters say is not reviewed, not used to train anything, and not kept once a scene ends. The only copy that exists is the one described below, held just long enough to survive a server restart.
What we store
- Who you are on the platform you signed in with. Your account id on DeviantArt or SubscribeStar, your subscription tier, and the email address that platform gives us. We use these to let you in, work out your monthly turns, and contact you if we need to.
- Usage counters. How many turns you have used this period, and token counts from the AI provider. Numbers only.
- Your scene while you play it. So that a scene survives a server restart, the game keeps a snapshot of the scene in progress, including what you typed and what the characters said. It exists only while the scene is open, is replaced by the next scene, and is not read by anyone.
- Play metrics. Numbers and ids only (which scene, how long a turn took, how many model calls). Never the text of play.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It holds a signed id, nothing about you.
What we don't store
- Card or bank details. Payment happens entirely on DeviantArt or SubscribeStar.
- Your real name or address.
- A transcript of your play. Scenes are not kept once they end, and nothing you write is ever read by a person.
Who else sees anything
- The AI provider. To write the characters' replies, the text of your current scene is sent to a third-party AI hosting service (Featherless). Under their policy they process the text only to generate the reply and do not store it; they keep a record that an API call was made, not what it said.
- Our hosting provider runs the servers the game lives on.
- DeviantArt and SubscribeStar tell us your subscription status, and nothing flows back to them beyond the sign-in.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
Access keys
If you were given an access key instead of signing in through a platform, we store only the key, its allowance and its usage counters. No email, no name.
Keeping and deleting
Account rows are kept while you are subscribed and for a short time after, so that a lapsed subscription can resume. You can ask for everything we hold about you to be deleted at any time by messaging February on DeviantArt at deviantart.com/notfebruary from the account you play with. We will confirm when it is done.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
